I am beyond excited that I returned to the wonderful world of title insurance as a Business Consultant for Chicago Title. This next chapter serves as a bookend to an amazing 26 year career in real estate, and a return to where it all started. The first seventeen years of my career were spent in and around the courthouse squares of Indiana, the real estate offices, and banking institutions. I truly found a love for this business years ago as an abstractor/title searcher and then eventually as a sales representative for two separate title companies. The nine years previous my return was an amazing opportunity to originate mortgage loans with another great company. The knowledge and experience that I was able to gain as a mortgage loan officer will be instrumental for my return to title insurance. Originating mortgage loans has been the perfect bridge from the earlier part of my career to the present, as I will be able to guide our clients from multiple perspectives.
I was so blessed to meet my amazing wife of 25 years in this industry, and we have been going strong ever since. Heidi and I have two amazing children that have recently graduated from high school and college respectively, and we are just beginning to see the next phase of our personal life slow down slightly. We have been heavily involved with youth, travel, high school, and college sports for the last 14 years and we would not trade those experiences for anything.
This 26 year journey in real estate has allowed for my wife and I to start a small business in 2004, and has also allowed for me to be an instrumental part of attracting two separate businesses to the town that I grew up in. It has been an amazing journey, but I have no plans to slow down. I am looking forward to becoming an integral part of the growth of Chicago Title in the territory that I represent. Title Insurance is where I belong, and Chicago Title has made me feel at home. I love what I do, and I am so thankful that my career has brought me full circle. I fully believe in Mark Twain’s words that read “if you find a job that you enjoy doing, you will never have to work a day in your life.” Well, I have found it!
